Better off families to this day bring two or more chairs as part of this living custom.

From locally-available raw materials such as rattan, bamboo, under the diligence and skillful hands of Thai and Kho Mu people,  increasingly better rattan chairs,  trays and traditional baskets have been produced, attracting a wider range of consumers.
